.. Random? Yeah, hahahah.. There’s a few I’d considered getting.
An infinity sign with omnia vincit amor in the loops, which means love conquers all in Latin. I’ve had rough patches in my limited existance, and every time it’s been love that pulls me through. Whether it was the love of friends or family, or even someone unexpected, it has definitely been love that has gotten me through the hard times. Occasionally it’s even been my love that’s gotten other’s through their problems. And the infinity/eternity symbol obviously represents forever - because it will always be love that conquers the demons in my life.
I’ve also wanted to get a feather with the quote “You know that place between sleeping and awake, that place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.” It’s a quote from Peter Pan (the original J.M. Barrie novel, not the Disney film), which is a story I’ve always loved and connected to. I also think Barrie’s writing is some of the best I’ve ever seen; it’s whimsical and has an element of pure magic to it. The feather has a multitude of meanings; one being Peter is depicted and characterized with a feather in his hat at all times, so it relates to the quote. The other is that - to me - it represents freedom and beauty.
